Decisions and iterations

Configure local inference

Ollama runs the coder model locally on a dedicated Mac mini.

Connect the interface

Slack provides the messaging interface; a gateway bound to loopback connects it to the local setup.

Manage credentials and startup

Secrets are stored in macOS Keychain rather than plaintext project files. LaunchAgent starts the setup on boot.

Constrain execution

Docker/Colima containers separate the configured execution environment from normal host processes.

Results and context

The diagram maps the configured workflow. Model inference runs locally, while messages still pass through Slack’s external service.

Technical details

Architecture and setup

This is configuration and extension of the OpenClaw platform. Slack messages cross an external service; Ollama model inference runs locally on a dedicated Mac mini.

Security boundaries and limitations

The gateway is loopback-bound. Secrets are stored in macOS Keychain rather than plaintext project files. Docker/Colima contains the configured execution tasks; container isolation depends on the permissions and mounts assigned.
